Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 October 2026. These terms explain how you may use PrintProfit. Creating an account requires you to agree to these Terms and choose account sync for profiles and saved project details. You separately decide whether existing profiles and Projects in each browser should be imported.

Important: PrintProfit provides estimates to help with planning. It does not guarantee a print's cost, selling price, safety, quality or profit. Check the inputs and real-world costs before relying on an estimate or accepting an order.

1. About the service

PrintProfit is operated by Mr Connor Steven Jones. The calculator, Guide & Help, Compare Products and related tools are provided to help users estimate 3D-printing costs and pricing. Some parts may be changed, unavailable or discontinued as the service develops. The core calculator is currently provided without a charge.

2. Estimates and external information

Calculations depend on the figures you enter and the assumptions or reference values shown. Prices, electricity tariffs, selling-platform fees, postage, taxes and product availability can change or may be incomplete. Check current information from the relevant supplier or platform. The results are not financial, tax, legal, accounting, engineering or product-safety advice, and are not a promise that you will make a profit.

Before using an estimate for a real order, check material usage and price, print time, electricity, machine wear, labour, packaging, delivery, marketplace/payment fees, tax and any other costs that apply to you.

3. Files and intellectual property

Supported print/model files are analysed in your browser; they are not uploaded to PrintProfit's servers. You remain responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use any file you analyse or print, and for following its licence and any applicable law. Do not use PrintProfit to infringe another person's rights or to upload information you are not allowed to use.

You retain your rights in information, profile details and project data you enter. If you enable account sync, you give PrintProfit permission to process printer and material profiles and saved project settings and analysis details only as needed to provide that service. Google Firebase processes this data as described in the Privacy Notice.

4. Accounts and cloud sync

PrintProfit Pro trial and subscription

The core calculator remains free. An eligible new subscriber can choose a seven day free trial with either a £2.50 monthly plan or a £24 annual plan. The annual price is paid upfront. Stripe Checkout collects a payment method for the first charge after the trial. If the account has had a subscription before, a new purchase starts at the selected price without another trial. The price and first payment date are shown again in Checkout before you confirm.

Unless you cancel, the selected plan renews automatically at £2.50 each month or £24 each year. You can manage payment details and cancel from the Pro billing panel through Stripe’s Customer Portal. A cancellation scheduled for the end of the current trial or paid period keeps access until that date. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge. If a renewal payment fails, Pro access may stop while the subscription is not in good standing. Saved projects and inventory remain available for viewing and export if Pro access ends.

For a billing question, refund request or help cancelling, contact Printprofit26@outlook.com. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Deleting a PrintProfit account does not itself cancel a subscription; use the billing portal to cancel and let the subscription end first.

5. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt, probe, overload or bypass its security, access another user's account or data, or use the service to distribute malware or infringe rights. We may restrict access where reasonably needed to protect users, the service or the law.

6. Availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care to provide the service, but do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for every purpose. Keep your own copies of important information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrintProfit is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service or reliance on estimates.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or removes any consumer rights you cannot waive. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights continue to apply.

7. Privacy and updates

How personal information is handled is explained in the Privacy Notice. We may update these Terms; the date at the top will change. If an update affects account sync, you may need to accept the current version before syncing again. If you do not agree to an update, you can stop syncing and delete your account.
